About Me

Hello, I'm Milla.

 

I'm Miss England 2024/25. A surfer, qualified beach lifeguard, model, author and campaigner, but above all, I'm someone who has always felt most at home by the sea.

 

Growing up between London where I attended MoreHouse  school and studied drama at LAMDA and Cornwall, where my love of the sea shaped my life. 

 

I've always had a love of adventure, creativity and the outdoors. Moving to Cornwall gave me the freedom to pursue my passion for surfing and to build a life that feels true to who I am. The ocean has taught me so much about resilience, confidence and simply being comfortable in your own skin.

 

Being crowned Miss England at 23 was an incredible moment in my life, but for me the title has always been about much more than a crown. It has given me a platform to champion the things I genuinely care about.

 

From mental wellbeing and body confidence to lifesaving, young people and our connection with the natural world.

 

My experience as a lifeguard inspired my: Go Far With CPR campaign, which is all about giving children the confidence and knowledge to potentially save a life. I believe these are skills that should belong to everyone, and have lobbied parliament for CPR training to become mandatory in schools, and I love finding ways to make something as important as CPR feel accessible, empowering and even exciting.

 

I've also recently become a children's author with my book Sugar Sands, a story inspired by personal experience and my love of Cornwall, the ocean and adventure. 

 

Writing it has been a wonderful opportunity to bring together so many of the things I love and hopefully inspire children to explore, dream big and discover their own sense of adventure.

 

My life has taken me from the beaches of Cornwall to the world stage, and I'm excited to see where the next chapter takes me. I've never been particularly interested in following a conventional path, I'd much rather create my own.

 

For me, life is about staying curious, chasing adventure, being kind, and always having the courage to go a little further.
